This standard specifies the requirements for two types of detergent-resistant water-emulsion floor polish suitable for general application on most floors other than wood and on sealed wood floors. It should not be used on unsealed wood, cork or magnesite floors. The floor finish may be maintained by spray buffing techniques using conventional floor machines with speeds up to 350 r/min.
